That is a question! A question is when you want to find something out.
Asking a question is like opening a door. On the other side is something new to learn!
Asking is smart. Asking is never silly. Big kids ask. Grown-ups ask. Even the smartest people ask lots of questions!
What Do You Wonder?
Let's try it together. You can wonder about anything!
Maybe you wonder about the moon. Or bugs. Or why dogs wag their tails.
So Many Questions!
Look around! Our whole world is full of questions.
- Why is the sky blue?
- What does my cat want?
- How does a tiny seed grow into a big plant?
- Where does the rain come from?
Every one of these starts a door to something to learn. Isn't that fun?
A good question helps you find the answer. So let's make one!
Ask About Something You See
Think about something near you right now. A toy. A window. A snack. A pet.
Turn "I Don't Know" Into "Let's Find Out"
Sometimes someone asks you something & you think, "I don't know."
And guess what? That is okay! Nobody knows everything.
When you don't know, you get to do something wonderful. You get to ASK!
"I don't know" can turn into "Let's find out!"
So if you don't know why the moon is round, you can ask, "Why is the moon round?" Then you go find out!
