But wait. Are the blocks wobbly? Will they fall down?
You can look and check! You can see if the tower is wobbly. You can fix it so it will not fall.
A helper helps. And you still check. That is being smart!
Count It Yourself

A machine can help us count. That is helpful!
But sometimes a helper makes a mistake. A helper can be wrong.
Pretend a counting machine says there are 5 apples. But you look, and you count 6 apples!
You can count too! You can trust your own eyes. If the helper is wrong, that is okay. You can check.

A helper can give you an idea. A helper can say "try this!"
That is nice of the helper. But YOU get to choose what you do. You are the boss of your own choice!
A helper helps. You look and check. And you choose. That is being smart and being you.
